2. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY
2.1. DEFINITION OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal Data means any information relating to the data subject, i.e. any information relating to any natural person to whom the data relates and whose identity is known or can be ascertained. Such information, as defined by the Law and the relevant European provisions, includes, for example, the name, address, date of birth and gender of the member, mobile phone number, e-mail address as well as usage data, such as, for example, the username, password and IP address.
2.2. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
For your simple browsing in our Online Store, the Company does not ask you for any personal information. However, while you browse or use the services offered by cosmeticom.gr , the Company collects and processes browsing data through cookies that relate exclusively to your shopping habits.
The categories of personal data that the Company collects and processes during your visit/browsing to the Website and Online Store cosmeticom.gr are the following:
a) we collect the necessary Personal Data, which according to the Law and the Terms of Use, are deemed necessary in order to complete, execute and ship your order. b) we collect your Email Address (email) when you register for our Newsletter service, in order to send you newsletters about the Company, cosmeticom.gr , its products/services, any offers, etc. If you choose to participate in our email newsletter, the email address you provide to us will be forwarded to MAILCHIMP, which provides us with email marketing services. We consider MAILCHIMP to be a third party data processor (Paragraph 2.5 below). If you choose to contact us using the contact form on the “Contact” page, none of the data you provide will be stored by this Website or transferred/processed by any of the third party data processors set out in Section 2.5. Instead, the data will be classified in an email message simply to respond to you.
d) we collect your First and Last Name, your Email Address (e-mail), your Personal Password (Password), your Gender and your Date of Birth when you register as a Member at cosmeticom.gr and open an Account, so that you can complete your purchases from our online store.
e) in case you provide personal data of third parties (such as Name, Surname, Address, Telephone) to cosmeticom.gr (e.g. cases of purchasing gifts for a Third Party), cosmeticom.gr will protect the Third Party's Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
